Ein modernes Institut für Klinische Transfusionsmedizin, das Patienten des Klinikums Braunschweig an allen Standorten, andere Krankenhäuser und niedergelassene Ärzte der Region mit Blutprodukten und diagnostischen Leistungen versorgt, mit folgenden Einrichtungen: einem Blutspendedienst mit Vollbutspende, Thrombozytapherese und Stammzellapherese einem immunhämatologisches Labor (DAkkS akkreditiert) mit breitem Untersuchungsspektrum mit angegliederter Blutbank sowie der Zentralen Ausgabestelle für Blutprodukte am zweiten Standort einem transplantationsimmunologisches Labor (EFI und DAkkS akkreditiert) einem Labor für thrombozytäre und molekulare Diagnostik einem Qualitätskontrolllabor für Blutprodukte einem GMP-Reinraumzentrum und Kryolager für Blut- und Gewebeprodukte einer Corneabank und einer Bank für kardiovaskuläre Gewebe. Die Stelle im Überblick Organisation und Betreuung von Blutspendern und Thrombozytapheresespendern Durchführung der Venenpunktion und Sicherstellung eines ordnungsgemäßen Ablaufs der Spende Betreuung hämatologisch/onkologischer Patienten bei der Durchführung der Stammzellspende und anderer Apheresen und Sicherstellung des ordnungsgemäßen Ablaufs Dokumentation der durchgeführten Tätigkeiten und Übernahme von Aufgaben im Rahmen der Qualitätssicherung Die Eingruppierung erfolgt entsprechend der Qualifikation.

Qualifications and Experience: · Full GMC Registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register · High Diploma (Fellowship or Membership) of Speciality College MRCOG or equivalent · Experience in Gynecology or Fertility · Effective communication skills regarding medical topics with both patients and colleagues · Patient focused attitude · Minimum of 2 - 5 years clinical experience working as a Consultant, Fellow or Doctor · An understanding of the biology and scientific evidence underpinning clinical practice · Strong knowledge of the HFEA Code of Conduct · An understanding of the work of related disciplines · An appropriate level of supervision and management skills · An understanding of prevailing legislation · An understanding of, and ability to apply, quality assurance and monitoring of clinical performance Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience) Location: TFP GCRM Fertility - Glasgow Working Hours: Up to 37.5 hours Pension: Dual contribution pension scheme Holiday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays (pro rata)
